Still Life, the depiction of predominately inanimate objects, can offer us new ways of looking at the ordinary. The works in this exhibition were chosen for their meticulous care in the selecting, arranging, and lighting of the subject matter. Some of the pieces are sublime in their beauty, others offer up an inexplicable mystery. They all captured my imagination and asked me to slow down and linger. My hope is that they will do the same for you.
